Service Description
We design, make and teach, in order to preserve a significant part of our culture. Adire is the original west African indigenous traditional cloth before the socio-political and cultural interruption of colonialism in the early 1900s. The 'Ankara' material widely recognised today is a western intervention. Decolonisation is a key theme embedded within our educational program.
